Description

Virtually all the Salvagnini equipment (systems S4Xe, SL4, P4Xe, L3, L5, B2, B3, E3, Roboformer) can be integrated into automated production lines and systems that are, as a rule, developed and designed according to individual orders. Thanks to the extremely flexible and expandable modular system configurations, Salvagnini AJS and FMS can provide totally automated manufacturing processes and eliminate the costs associated with the intermediate transportation of materials, such optimizing the continuity of the production and upgrading the factory logistics. The impeccable production control is provided by proprietary software that allows performing the manufacturing operations without the attendance of the operator and with no lights on.

The S4+P4 line is one of Salvagnini's most popular solutions. It punches, shears and bends sheet metal totally automatically. The first prototype dates back to 1979 and is a landmark in the development of systems for integrated logistics.

Up to this day, it remains the most efficient and flexible system for sheet metal fabrication on the market.

Guaranteed kit production and flexible automation

The Salvagnini S4+P4 systems punch, shear and bend metal parts from standard blanks and provide products with no intermediate handling of the partly machined workpieces. 

The Salvagnini FMS S4+P4 line has been initially designed to operate in a totally automatic and integrated manner. The multi-press head, integrated shear, Punch&Cut function, possibilities provided by proprietary software, and universal flexible bending tool enable the unmanned "lights-out" production.

Automatic set-up in masked time (at the same time as the machine is processing another sheet of metal), the control unit data processing in real time raises  performance levels of significantly and makes "batch one" production truly possible and efficient. 

Easily adjustable configuration

The modular S4+P4 lines can be configured in a variety of ways, from the simplest to the most complex and highly automated, with devices for loading and unloading to and from automatic storage systems. This makes the installation extremely flexible and allows it to be fully personalized according to the space available and the characteristics of the production process.

Process-controlling software

Opera-OPA is the package capable of satisfying requests from company resource management systems. The software receives production orders from ERP (for enterprise resource planning, the business process management software) systems, analyses typical parameters such as quantity, codes, delivery and job priorities, generates the single part program by interfacing with the CAD/CAM programming and designing software and creates work programs for the machines integrated in the system. 

If installed, the WMS (for warehouse management system to manage the tray store) software, which also interfaces in real-time with the management systems, fully monitors raw and semi-finished material over the entire production process, optimizing tray localization, permitting multi-pack storage and dynamically searching for free positions.
